Hey guys so I just recently did a transmission pan gasket and filter replacement on a 2002 Mazda b2300 of mine and I'm noticing after the replacement it seems like I'm having some sort of transmission fluid leak at the bolts does anyone know what could be causing this?

1. Bad gasket
2. Bolts too loose OR too tight
3. Question: did you use sealant on the gasket/pan ??

I used a brand new gasket. Did the exact torque spec needed like 89 in pounds. Did not use any sealant around the gasket.

Your only choice should the leak be significant or bother you - is to "go in again". If you're careful you should be able to re-use that transmission fluid if you are careful to catch it in a clean container.
