Has anyone had any bad experience with the infotainment centre.
Every 2 or so months it seems to freeze. I am told by the dealer it needs updating but really how often is this needed. It was just recently updated about 5 weeks ago and freezing again.
In the cold weather it keeps rebooting itself.
when making calls it says "call on handset" and the whole system is frozen. I pull over and reboot everything and turn off the car reboot phone but no success until I get in the car later.
Navigation will just freeze.
Jut basically the whole system goes into freeze mode and won't come out of it until I restart the car or wait some time after the car has been parked.
I am really not happy with this system and wonder if anyone has had this experience.
thanks

I have had ongoing intermittent issues with my SiriusXM radio for almost a year. Dealer has tried updating Infotainment System, and even replaced it. Also issues with SiriusXm Traffic Plus never working with Mazda navigation. Have another appointment next week with hopefully Regional troubleshooter from Mazda.

Unfortunately there have been a good amount of issues with the Mazda infotainment screens, especially the earlier models. Honestly the newest cmu update does fix a lot of the problems and makes the system just run a lot smoother. There is also a tsb out for certain early model nav sd cards due to some of them having corrupted data which causes freezing and screen shutting off issues. I'd look into having the system updated to to newest update, (70.00.367) and check for the tsb if you have a nav card plugged in.
