New car bought 18 months ago, 34,000 km (20,000) miles, all 4 rotors had to be replaces as well as brake pads. All mileage highway miles, Mazda would not cover any of it. They said because I park my car outside in the winter they will not cover. Stay clear of this car if you live in a climate where it snows.

Sorry for your experience. That’s a big bill for brakes on a nearly new car.
But my 2018 with 36k miles in Minnesota has plenty of brake life. And, most reporting miles on original brakes (another forum) are getting beyond 50k miles. I wonder what happened to your car. It seems to be an outlier for brake life on the low side
