Hello everyone!

I’m finally taking the dive into upgrading my MS3. I currently have no upgrades at all, but I’m trying to piece together an exhaust system and not really sure if what I’m looking at is compatible with each other.

I’m looking at getting the following;

Unreal Racing Catback Exhaust -https://www.ultimate-racing.com/prod...exhaust-system

CorkSport Race Pipe with 80mm flange -

https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-3-r...Z6QTVqLW5oRnE.

Cobb Down Pipe-

https://www.cobbtuning.com/products/...eed3-2007-2013

I will be getting a Cobb Accessport as well as a Cobb HPFP.

I’m thinking about getting a CorkSport SRI and Cobb turbo inlet pipe too, but not sure if I’ll have the money right away for those two.

How do you guys think these will fit?

Thank you!

No direct experience with those brands, though the best exhaust setup would be downpipe plus a catback exhaust.

Personally I think HKS has the best designed and highest quality exhausts for the MAZDA line. All stainless and lighter than the OEM system. But the OEM systems are still very well made.

Cai, I have not installed a new exhaust system B/C the pipes in the OEM system are sufficiently large and I don't want a louder exhaust.
However I may buy a Cork Sport intercooler and pipes system for more horsepower. I have already got a drop-in K&N air filter and according to the YouTube comparison test video on "engineering Explained" I will have gained up to 5 hp. with just this filter alone.
The problem with the CorkSport intercooler system is first cost, about $750. and then the labor at $120./hour for 4 hours = $480. so with taxes around $1.400. Pretty steep price for another 10 HP. But if the US economy keeps tanking maybe Cork Sport will lower their prices.
