Just wanted to introduce ourselves (Del and Vic), growing vanilla and coffee in the rainforest. We've got a 2008 B2600 4wd. It's been great, and we've put it through very tough service, hauling construction materials and farm supplies down a treacherous go-down with a severe switchback on a sheer cliff face with a 50 meter drop straight down to the river. For several years, after going down that go-down we'd have to ford two rivers (not always crossable during the rainy season). Now we've got a nice bridge over one of the rivers (the largest) and now just have to ford what I would call a creek. Nevertheless, everyday we use the truck in 4wd doing chores and hauling around the farm. Yep, its a bit dangerous but we love the adventure. With respect to the truck we're always fixing something on it. Currently, my main concern is the 4wd - its making a clicking sound as we go down the go-down. I'll run down some photos and post at a later date.
