I’m not a mechanic so take pity on me. I just purchased a 1999 with 190k for a beater truck and all around hauler of junk. On the way home for buying it the check engine light popped on. My el’ cheap-o code reader came up with the code and high long term fuel trim 24.1% and 14.2% with short term being the same.
Ive search the code on the forum and found a possible problem could be a vacuum leak. Is this a possibility with the high percentage readings or am I looking at some other issue such as injectors?
Like I said, I’m not a mechanic and I haven’t stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Since vac leaks are cheap to fix I would first try and track it down. Once it is done see how the truck is running, if it throws another code then look at the injectors.
