Does anyone know if it's possible to turn of the Traffic Sign Recognition System. It doesn't work as it assumes school zone signs apply at all times of the day, I t assumes that speed recommendations are speed limits. "End of 50 zone" signs are read as 50 limit signs and speed restriction signs on the back of trucks and busses are read as road speed limit signs. To add to the problem, when it has mistaken the sign and I drive faster than it believes I should, it gives a continuous audible warning which I can't stop.

Thanks bolton38. I believe I can now turn off all audible warnings, but the visual warning is very faint and virtually useless. It's also wrong when it overrides the speed limit in its maps with the school sign limits as this ignores the time-of-day component that the maps know about. I'm writing from Australia and as far as I can see, I've paid hundreds of dollars for a system that doesn't work and that I wish I didn't have.
