Hello this is my first post here! I have a 2012 Mazda 3i Skyactiv automatic. I was doing some work on my car today and I wound up a little off track. My car has been leaking oil pretty severely so I replaced the valve cover gasket and intended to replace the oil pressure switch. In replacing the oil pressure switch, I broke another sensor which I thought was the oil pressure switch, but wasn’t and now I have to replace it as well. This mystery sensor is right above the oil pan and had a wiring clip connected , it looks like it is held in by a small bolt.
I also replaced spark plugs while I was replacing the valve cover gasket and started the car afterwards, so I’m confident that I messed something up between the two sensors- oil pressure and the unknown one.
