I have a 2003 Tribute with what seems like a short in the engine harness. When changing from Park to Reverse, the engine will rotate and the main harness will move with it and the engine will stall. Moving the harness by hand, I can get it to start again. Digging deeper into the harness, I’ve identified a couple of wires that could be issue. However, I can’t seem to be able to locate a wiring diagram to pinpoint what is causing the engine to die. Seems as though it’s either spark or fuel..duh. Anyone out there ever experience something similar? Trying to avoid buying an entire harness.
