Just bought a gasket kit to replace head gasket on b2600i bravo ute 1998. The gasket removed was metal the kit supplied a graphite one . Is this kit gasket dodgy or ok to use to replace metal gasket that was originally there? What is the best material for a head gasket for b2600i bravo ute 1998. What's the go with sealants on head gaskets do use or don't ? Please any help

graphite gasket is good, may be slightly thicker than steel shim gasket (.020 inch) so your valves will need adjusting if they are not hydraulic. Steel shim was cheap to make and worked but graphite or MLS will seal better. Always install head gaskets dry unless they are copper.
