Lol that made my day Milly S. Last night at work I lock the doors before getting out of the milly and noticed it didn't chime and the security like wouldn't come on. I was like is my alarm armed and ready? So I went around checking everything and I i know if the security light aint on sometimes its because of the trunk (always hitting the button on my remote). Well it was the trunk even though the trunk looked closed (i ended up closing it) and the security light came on.

Your car wouldn't be very safe if there was an external release because anyone could get in. Unfortunately, you'll have to contact a locksmith.
You should also prepare a backup key for future usage. More information
Pull the front door open where the front and back windows meet at the top of the window. It will flex just enough to allow a hanger to be inserted and the door to be unlocked. With a hanger, it's quite simple to reach the button. It's something I've done before. Just remember to bend the door backwards.
