Does it matter which box you use? Weather it be LHD or RHD? If so I need to cancel my order lol...

yeah pedal box *shouldnt* matter, you guys still have the accelerator on the right side and clutch on the left right?

Yes, its all the same configuration wise. I'm just not sure if bolt holes and mounting points are the same, I guess I will find out if the importers find me a luce half cut.

compare part numbers of the two items LHD RHD peddle box RHD one is 43-070
are you still making your own peddle box thajoka?
some part/part numbers between Rx-7 and HC are the same parts

No I found a full 5 speed 929, that I will be buying as soon as I get the cash.

Also, the fc pedal box doesn't fit. I had one in the garage from my last car and they aren't even close.

Question, did your crank have a spot for a pilot bushing? Because mine does not, I was under the impression that all manual transmissions needed them. My crank just has a like 1" indent from where the auto input shaft sat.

Another question, which rx7 clutch works? s4 or s5? tii or n/a? Does the pressure plate work as well?

Also need an answer to my previous question...

the crank *should* already have the pilot bearing inserted in it. Mine did when i pulled the auto off.

The RX7 clutch is from the turbo verson, Series 5 i am fairly sure. You use the pressure plate and clutch plate.

This is what mine has in the crank, and from what I can tell it doesnt come out.

i think youll find that the pilot bearing is in the flywheel man.

Ahh well thats the problem, Im used to pilot bearings being in the motors... I guess I have to take my head out of the 240sx scene and start paying attention :D

wel guys looks like i got my hands on a full manual kit for the Luce

turbo gearbox from v6 turbo
pedal box
clutch master and slave
brand new clutch
crossmember and tailshaft
shifter with rubber boots for trans tunnel and center console cover etc.

basically the entire kit to do the job

im not going to use it, but if anyone is interested in it hollar to me (pm)


what would something like this be worth?

I would say something like 500-800$ USD, plus shipping.

I almost bought an entire wrecked 929, for 1000 only planning on keeping the transmission and stuff. Deal fell through, now my cars getting pushed away. And back to working on the 240.

Would have to be worth a fair bit to the right person, not easy to come by. If i was chasing one id be willing to pay $1000 if the box was in good condition, it would be money well spent with better fuel economy as well. I guess its all relative to what the car means to the buyer, because on the other hand you would have to find someone willing to pay a third of the cars worth on a g'box conversion.

hey sim do you have the manual center console in the colour maroon?????????????

my G/B conversion isn't finished yet and it has already cost me more than $6000
