Signal Light Replacement

I have a question. I am trying to replace my turn signal bulbs in the front because I thought they were out. But when I checked, they weren’t even plugged in. On the driver side, either I’m missing something or there is no wire to plug into the adapter. Hopefully someone can explain that to me. Thanks.
