US 929 Owners

i live in shawnee ok i love my 94 mazda 929 only if i can get it started

1993 929 in KY. I'm the new owner of a "barn find" 929. Immaculate condition with (believe it or not) 23,000 miles. The proverbial little old lady owned it before me. I couldn't pass on the deal even though I have very limited experience with Mazda vehicles. I've been trying to gather technical information, as well as researching parts availabilty. I'm not encouraged with my research so far, but hopefully this thing will run and drive well for a long time before I need to get my hands dirty. We'll see!

88 Mazda 929- a few simple mods, intake, completely straight piped no cat res or muffler sounds great. performance plugs and wires, all fluids are high grade, and cleaned out the throttle body and the VAF? or whatever the **** its called LOL, you would be surprised what a difference sometimes a clean TB can do for an old car.

West Lafayette, Indiana. Just got a 95 929 for $499 on ebay. Should be here in a few days. I need some mod ideas and want to get a VIP body kit. Send me some ideas and I will post the results...

1993 with 46k. Keller Texas. I just did the timing belt, water pump, and crank seal; not because of mileage but rather age! I will second those that said it in the TB thread, this is a difficult belt to replace!

1992 with 80K bought new and can't find parts. Needs struts really bad, help would be appreciated.

Hi. I'm Joe and my wife and I have a 93 929 and we are the original owners. The car is basically stock (quite unusual for me), though it is a bit shabby from wear and tear (174,000 miles). We are in Colorado. Currently we are starting to refurbish it, paint first and then interior. We are looking for a source for interior parts. Does anyone have any?

I bought a set of factory seat covers for my 1991 929S from ebay seller kustomkreationzmotorcycles a few years ago. Thrilled to find it - saved the car. Can't beat the price. You could e-mail him to see if he has any for your car that he could list - that's what I did. They are original covers taken off by his upholstery shop (and stored in the warehouse for about 20 years) when the leather covers were installed so they are original, basically unused.

I just got my grandma's 1992 929. Silver/Grey and in mint condition. Only 38,000 miles !! Let me know if you want to buy it. No problems except for the back 2 windows will NOT roll down. They are in the UP position. It's up on autotrader for $7,900.
