I'm looking for a fairly low mile engine for my truck. Preferably within 50 miles of Cordon Indiana. I've periodically tried the junkyards for several months. Nothing closer than 500 miles.

I don't have an engine but I need a set of cam followers and a cam... Where did you find some engines? 500 out of Indiana might be closer to me in Virginia... thanks!

I haven't found an engine yet that is within my driving distance. I am not about to buy something sight unseen. I would give you the cam and rockers out of my old engine but they are damaged.

Same problem I have. Block is good, got a new head, thinking my cam was good but upon further inspection... that was not the case. lol

Best of luck in your search. These things are getting harder to find! Maybe just throw and LS in it! LOL

You can find all the new pieces on line but they will set you back a ton. Yeah, I have a couple of V8s that would be nice in it but I dont want another project now.

I hear that... I have looked at a few websites and the cam is "out of stock." If you have any better suggestions, Ill take it.
