Alright guys I have a 1990 B220 and the A/C worked great up until a week ago. Starting with the 4 position blower switch, On position (1) the compressor engages but the fan does not blow, on positions (2) (3) and (4) the blower motor blows but the compressor disengages, any ideas on what it might take to fix this probem?? I would not think it would be in the blower motor switch or the A/C switch itself. This makes me think and I cant figure it out. Thanks for your help, York27

When the blower stops at one or several speeds part from full speed, it is usually the resistor unit that needs repair or rather replacement. Look for a unit with wires attached to it after the fan, where it is cooled by the airstream. Usually mounted with 2 bolts. I'd check out that first and take it from there.
