I really am thinking of buying a mazda b4000 truck, most likely a 2003+ except for the aftermarket parts issue. I heard you can swap some ranger parts into a mazda but i have no idea what ones. The aftermarket parts im looking for are mainly tail lights/ headlights if they sell them/ 3rd brake light/ and lift kit. Ebay shows nothing so im wondering if any ranger parts can be used on the mazda, and if anyone has them installed with pics ;)

The '93 and newer Ford Ranger is designed by Ford and uses the engines and trannies Ford specifies. The Mazda is identical in almost all areas except certain portions of the body and trim and some minor changes to the interior. Virtually all the engine, and transmission parts interchange perfectly. I have seen lots of Mazdas around here with aftermarket headlights and tailights. I suspect that they are interchangeable with the Rangers of the Same years. I am pretty sure the headlights are different. Why would you want to replace the headlights. The OEM headlights are designed to meet certain safety specs. And the lift kits will work on the Mazda just fine.

Just normally when you change the headlights out with Projection headlights, or black housed headlights, still oem. Mainly i was looking to change the tail lights and get a lift kit. Anyone know where you can get a lift kit for an 03-04 mazda b4000?

My wire is cut for my O2 sensor on my 91 mazda b2200 the wire connector are different on a 91 ford ranger I thought that everything could be interchangeable
1986-1993 Mazda trucks for USA are completely different from Ford Rangers.
1994-on USA Mazda trucks are clones of Ford Rangers of same year.

1994- on USA Mazda trucks are for the most part(S) nothing near a clone of Ford Rangers of the same year(s). Sure you will find a part or three that are interchangeable. It is very misleading to say these vehicles are clones. Only example I'm going to give , is this, because it encompasses so many different parts of both vehicles: I had the unfortunate experience of having my 2004 Mazda stolen and stripped of many things. The thieves cut my wiring harness in a few places to get at whatever! So in my search for a replacement harness, I checked out the 'exact' Ford Ranger 'clones'....and the wiring harness's could not have been more different and un adaptable to my Mazda. In order to replace my harness on my Mazda, I had to find the exact same model Model , made in the same factory, the same month and during the same campaign. Btw My 2004 Mazda , base model, regular cab (2 door) RWD, automatic, no power features such as windows, etc., with A/C was put together in New Jersey, The tail lights are not interchangeable with a Ford Ranger. Horrible advice to give anyone looking to fix their Mazda. I respect you for trying to help, but the 2004 Mazda B2300 and the 2004 Ford ranger share almost nothing intrinsically mechanical or electrical with each other.
