oscillating heat

i have my belts changed because my ps/alt belt went out on me. works fine just the belts squeak a little. i thought i should i wait it out a little but theyre still squeaking, even worse because its cold, so i think. well the belts squeak when the car is cold and i first start it. sometimes it goes on for a block sometimes for longer. when the ac is on when i defrost the car squeaks everytime. now only after i use the ac to defrost the front window, the heater wont work at all until i stop the car and start it back up with the ac off. its weird. any insight would be appreciated. i cant pin it down since it does so so infrequently. thanks

what motor? the 2.3 has 2 mechanical tensioners, and if they are good, the only way the belt can squeal would be something like the harmonic balancer starting to separate. which does happen. them tensioners put a good amount of tension on the belts. try to loosen one, you will see how hard they are.

im on the good ole 2.5 yeah i tried to do it myself and ended up first trying to remove the pully not the tensioner bolt, and then snappin that bitch in there.. haha so i know.. but once it was fixed the belts were fine until about a month ago. the squealing happens at so many different times with so many different things goin on i cant seem to pin it down..
